The Ways We Worship:

ON THE 1ST & 3RD SUNDAY

We gather for what many who have experienced church might recognize as a Worship Service. We gather to worship God through song, through the hearing of God's Word, and through the offering of ourselves to God and one another as we share the stories of how God has been present and working in our lives as well as the struggles we face in day-to-day life. Currently our Worship Services are held at the Weston Ranch High School (4606 McCuen Ave., Stockton, CA 95206).

open doorON THE 2ND SUNDAY

We gather for a Prayer Service. Our prayer services might be a gathering in a home to pray for each other and our community, or a prayer walk through a particular area in our Weston Ranch community. We may also gather in a public space in the community to offer any who would receive it, prayer for their lives, their families, their situations and circumstances and especially for their relationships with God and others.

We also gather at 12:30pm for “Open Air Scripture Reading”.  We gather at Paul E. Weston Park, located at the center of our Weston Ranch community, where the Word of God is read aloud.

ON THE 4TH SUNDAY

We gather for Community Service, which takes many forms. This can be anything from picking up trash in our neighborhood, to hosting open-air scripture readings at a local venue (ex. Paul E. Weston Park), to helping a neighbor do yard work, etc. When we serve our neighbors we love our neighbors, and when we love our neighbors we offer our bodies as living sacrifices to God, and this too is an act of worship.

We also gather at 12:30pm for “Open Air Scripture Reading”.  We gather at Paul E. Weston Park, located at the center of our Weston Ranch community, where the Word of God is read aloud.

ON THE 5TH SUNDAY

We gather for brunch and some table fellowship with our Open Door Family. It is always good when we can sit down and share a meal together. The relationships that grow and deepen around food and the conversations that take place as we break bread together are foundational to the transformation that God desires to bring about in our lives with one another. So bring something to share and join us every 5th Sunday.

Our Mission

We seek to live life in the kingdom by loving God, loving others, and inviting others to do the same by creating a sacred space where people are welcome and safe to meet Jesus face to face as we do life together.

Our Vision

We are a good news centered 24/7 community who knows that brokenness doesn't keep business hours. We live and love like Jesus, leaving behind people who will do the same.

Our Future

We are dreaming of building a community center-a place where community functions can happen and kids can have a place to go and enjoy themselves.

Events

Trunk or Treat

Every year at Halloween we host a Trunk or Treat event right in the neighborhood. All of our neighbors come out and participate in what has become an anticipated and high point in the life of our community here in Weston Ranch.  This is a time when we get to celebrate being a part of the community, and participate with neighbors in providing a positive moment in the life of our community.

Christmas Eve

We host a midnight service and provide a time to reflect on the advent season.  And how we have seen and continue to see the way God continually enters in to our lives and our community.
